This is a nice bit on kit. I mount it on my cameras hot shoe, dial in ½ power, ISO 2500, 1/125th at F4 and shoot some great low light photography during the Bride & Grooms first dance.I get about 3.5hrs at half power.It uses an internall recharable cell, I find this some what limiting hence the 4 star rating.Has the bonus of using as a flash, but this could do with some refinement.As will all Manfrotto Kit it is well made.LED lighting is the future and this is a great bit of kit.

I was really excited to try out this light as part of a professional ENG kit. It had great reviews, and I'm also a stills photographer, so having a flash/on camera light in one was a great idea.Sadly, it wasn't to be. When the first one arrived, the 6 LED's in the top left corner had broken from their base, and no longer worked. No problem, a return was organised, and I used it on an ENG shoot one night. It was alright, but the beam was very narrow, very noticable when shooting interviews with people at night, as there was a circular spot in the centre well lit, and everything else was in darkness.So, sent it back, and was replaced by model number two. Once again, took it out and used it. Once again, the beam is very narrow, but I was expecting that, and was going to live with it and just be more mindful of my framing.Sadly, after the FIRST days use, I plugged it in to charge. Unplugged it the next morning, and tried to turn it on, and it wouldn't go on. Not a thing. I figured I hadn't plugged in the charger, so I plug it in again and the flash icon lights up, as if it's charging. So I leave it for the day and decide to check on it later.Several hours later, no go. Still wouldn't fire up. Very disappointed at this stage.Returned it for a refund. Amazon were great about it though, sorted in no time at all and covered postage.I still gave it two stars, as the flash function was cool and unique, and the filter set they give you is good too. The fact it also runs on an internal battery pack is nice. Sadly, I didn't get to sample it too much.I would look at another brand, but only due to my experience with the item.
