I bought three of these units for professional (stills/video) use. I was dubious about LED technology - especially at the low prices that they've come onto the market at, but they are great. Colour temperature barely changes when they are dimmed which was a pleasant surprise. Build quality is really solid and we've had no trouble with them - I also bought some soft 17" laptop cases from Amazon and they fit in perfectly making them easy to carry on location.The output is fine if you're bouncing it or putting it through a diffuser/pop-up, but I've had some opal diffusers cut and fitted them with some short spacer studs to give a smoother finish. You lose a bit of light but they give a more professional finish - especially if they show up in reflective surfaces.Although I have a very large collection of lighting hardware I find myself using these and other LED panels more and more...
